Particulate matter is one kind of complex air pollutant by artificial or the natural source of pollution which discharge search chemical substance composes. In recent years, they have become the main material of the air pollution in many big and medium-sized cities. Because atmospheric aerosol strongly endangering the ecosystem environment and human health, studying the characteristics, pollution conditions and source of atmospheric are very important to prevention and cure for the pollution of atmospheric aerosol.As a result of Chengdu special basin climate, wind shadow frequency to reach as high as 43%,Wind speed lower (average wind velocity only 1.3m/s), inversion layer low, the atmospheric pellet is not easy to proliferate, is easy to initiate the atmospheric pellet pollution..In order to study under this kind of special basin environment, the source of particulate, the composition, how migrate the transformation,first it is must to study the pellet pollution characteristic, in particular inpollution quite serious situation pellet physical chemistrycomposition.X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) and neutron activation analysis (INAA), ion chromatography (IC), Atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS), X-ray powder diffraction analysis (XRD), Scanning electron microscope ((SEM), and other methods of Chengdu City area east of atmospheric particulate pollutants composition, physical and chemical properties of research, Also on the initial conditions of the winter fog particle volume, quality and chemical composition and the presence of pollutants in the form of made to such areas as research, apply the same concentration factor ((EF) and factor analysis (FA) two mathematical analysis of the district east of Chengdu atmospheric mark tablets were the main source gave preliminary discussion and analysis.The results show that the area east of Chengdu atmospheric pollution particles exist in the winter time easily exceeding, However, the overall trend is on the decline, this means that the air quality is improving. Chengdu area to the east of the city of respirable particulate matter pollution as the main feature. Based on total suspended particles in the atmosphere and atmospheric pollution in the worst of the winter fog particles of inorganic elements, Water-soluble ions, heavy metal ions,That shows them the enrichment of the poisonous and harmful chemical elements and chemical components, such as Ag, Cu, Zn, Pb, As, Hg, Seand SO42-. Sulfate and ammonium sulfate particles mainly salt. Fog when ion concentrations than non-fog when high 5~6 times. So there are more harmful risks for human. The particulate materials in the area of Chengdu city originate mainly from soot of burning coal and oil, vehicle emissions, building and metallurgical dusts, and dusts from road and soil. Otherwise burning rubbish and vegetation make a marked contribution to the derivation of the particulate materials.
