The Design And Research Of CNC System Based On Open System Bus

The open architecture CNC system is a basic break-through of traditional closed CNC system. As the key technology of new generation numerical processing, it is current development mainstream and research focus of numerical control technology. In this thesis, the system structure, hardware module, software design and several important technologies of open CNC system based on open bus architecture are analyzed and researched. With the achievement of research, we finished the digitized transformation of the bend pipe machine and made a very good result. The main content of the thesis includes:1. The study of how to realize open CNC system. Through comparing with design thought and system structure of the domestic and international open architecture CNC system, we have proposed the design thought of the CNC system based on open system bus, and have analyzed and researched the system structure with the module design method.2. The research of open system bus. We choose CAN bus as the open system bus for the characteristic of CNC system. Then a CAN protocol used in open CNC system has been drawn up through the reference to several main CAN protocols.3. The designing and implementing of the hardware and software of open CNC system. Through the division to functionality of CNC system by the module design method, the hardware which has been divided into several function module units of the open CNC system is designed; the software of management module has been developed under WINDOWS operating system and software of the embedded module also has been finished by the embedded software design method. In conclusion, the basic function of the open CNC system has been essentially realized.4. The test and application of Open CNC system. After realizing the basic function of the open numerical control system, a series of tests have been carried on and the system which has been expanded and redeveloped according to the characteristic and difficult point of numerical control bend pipe processing technology has been successfully applied to the digitized transformation of bend pipe machine.
