The immobilization of white rot fungi and the applications of immobilized white rot fungi to coking wastewater treatment were studied. The white rot fungi was cultivated and domesticated for coking wastewater treatment. The results of immobilization experiments indicated that the immobilized method of carrier adsorption was better than embedding. The wood chip was perfect carrier for immobilization among rice straw powder, cotton stalk powder, wood chip, wheat straw powder and groundnut shell powder. The immobilized fungi that desiccated in room temperature with a low investment and easy operation was easily to deposited, transported. And the activity debased 8.8% after 180 days deposited. For removal of the contamination in coking wastewater by the immobilized white rot fungi, the optimum pH value and temperature were 6.5 and 30℃while the optimum dose of immobilized white rot fungi was8.0 g·L-1, respectively. The removal rate of COD and phenolic compound were 84.89% and 70.38% in 3 days. For coking wastewater comprehensive treatment, the Internal electrolysis by copper iron—Ammonia removal bacteria degradation—Immobilized white rot fungi degradation—Fenton+adsorption process was carried out, and the removal rate of COD, ammonia nitrogen and phenolic compound were98.6%,98.56% and 99.04%. The effluent quality can meet the needs of recycle. The macro-kinetic of immobilized white rot fungi removal organic in coking wastewater was followed first order kinetics, and the kinetic equation model was In S=-Kt+Inα. The kinetic equation was In(COD)=-0.0265t+In 3243 in 30℃when the reaction rate(k) was 0.0265 h-1.
