The mine hoist is an important transport equipment during producing of the coal mine. Its electric driving and control devices are always a research focus in many countries' electric driving. At present, the electric driving systems applied to the mine include adjustable speed system by rotor in series with resistors, DC motor V-M reversible adjustable speed system, synchronous motor's vector control system with thyristor AC-AC frequency conversion, etc. Comparing with these, synchronous motor vector control AC-DC-AC variable-frequency adjustable speed system is the most preponderant scheme because it has high power factor, little harmonic current and little pollution to the power network. But nowadays there is little research about it.Therefore, a question for discussion and research is put forward about using this scheme for hoist. Rectifer part and inverter part contract the paper. PWM rectifier and vector control are applied to the research paper.Firstly, PWM rectifier's keystone, normal mathematic model, model under d-q axis and model of AC side at stable state are discussed detailedly. Based on this, combined with the specific demands of AC-DC-AC variable-frequency adjustable speed system for hoist, PWM rectifier's control strategy is researched and vector control strategy is adopted. By using Matlab, the performance of rectifier's vector control strategy is researched roundly and systemically including system stable and dynamic state.And based on TMS320LF2407 DSP, the system's hardware and software are designed.Besides, proceed from the requirement of research, the paper constructs the simulation model of salient-pole synchronous motor which is based on the Xad per-unit system. And the model's validity and practicability is testified. Air gap flux-oriented vector control is applied to mine hoist in this paper. Its principle, mathematic model and the design method of the system controller are researched. And the system simulation model is constructed based on the synchronous motor model, and the system's performance is researched with an emphasis. In addition, aiming to heavy's falling phenomenon appearing when the mine hoist starts working, a solving project with compound control is brought forward. The simulation results prove that the falling phenomenon is weakened evidently.
