Presently ,the tracking and orientation technology of mining personnel remain a blank field at home and abroad, people play a main role in the traditional orientation system,which lacking the quantitative index,veracity, faraway from the need of modern production.At abroad, generally the message of the tracking and orientation to personnel in the pit transmit by leak cable through wireless way such as infrared to ground system, the computer on the ground can judge the location that the personnel in the pit locate by dealing with the data received. Nevertheless, Some collieries of countries such as U.S.A., Japan,etc. have already implemented the tracking and orientation technology of mining personnel in whole ore, but the cost of this way is very high.At present, the tracking and orientation technology of mining personnel in domestic, actually it is only a kind of attendance and records the system of the radio frequency (RFID), doing a little in the tracking and orientation, which method is at the mine entrance, or other some key passways of the pit, using the radio frequency (RFID) the method that is recorded and followed that personnel register to going into the well of method to read (pay by credit card). This kind of RFID radio frequency reads and writes the system, including SuperRFID, neither impletement the tracking and orientation of person nor timely report the concrete position of the personnel in the pit, moreover, are helpless to improving the monitoring system of the existing safe factor of production too, which only can be regarded as a registered implement of personnel. The total institute of scientific research of coal has developed the tracking apparatus to the disappearance personnel, which mainly orienting the seats of personnel after the accident, within a dozen. It′s still unable to orient personnel in the pit omni-directional. According to severe situation of colliery safety and production of Chinese, how to set up an accurate, convenient navigation systems of personnel of the pit, arose a great concerns of the domestic governments at all levels.Nowadays,the requirement of the safety in production of domestic colliery become higher and higher, hence ,seting up a reliable and practical system to track and orient for personnel of colliery, which is very important realistic meanings to improve the security production management of the colliery. In this thesis,we designed a kind of economic,applicable system to track and orient of personnel in the pit which based on Zigbee wireless network. The Zigbee status identification moduler is a SOC IC with independent save and read setup, is able to save and read some information, and preserves the function of signal exchange, and therefore is able to implement real personel tracking and locating. Each chip integrates Zigbee RF front end, 128 KB flash memory, 8KB RAM and 8-bit 8051 MCU, which makes them a high integrated systematic RF transceiver.In this article, compare short distance,free communication Zigbee wireless network system with active RFID. Basing on the two advantage we chose Zigbee to communicate,meanwhile ,we select the patented technology with radio frequency integrated chip technology,the wireless network transmission technology of Chengdu west valley and little power wireless network of Company, having designed this tracking and orientation system of personnel in the pit. This thesis has introduced the composition of this system and function characteristic,etc.. This system puts forward a determines the nature in the quantitative assessment way: It adopt the Zigbees a rising star of short distance communication to transmit terminal' discern signal (transducer collect) various parameter to gateway of laneway, then transmiting gateway data to central control computer at ground by wired way, the data are analyzed and compared by the computer, this system have realized the localization of the personnel in the pit and nobody of different safe factors of production gather automatically, by economical and practical method.This tracking and orientation system is 2.4GHz new generation systems of personnel, adopting international latest Zigbee wireless network technology, which can prompt,accurate reflect all regional dynamic situation of person to the ground computer system in the pit,which make administrative staff can grasp distribution state and each of personnel in the pit when go into the well, rise well and sport orbit personnel at any time, in order to manage more rationaly. Thus until accident happen, safety in production control center can grasp different key elements of different safety in production of position in the pit at any time, thus take the positive and effective precautionary measures; Meanwhile ,when the accident happens, rescuers can also find out about the position situation about personnel rapidly by record,figure that navigation systems of personnel in the pit offered; After the accident happens, can master the accident and happen at that time, even in quite a while after the accident happened,situations such as staff members' concrete distribution position in the pit,the gas density of different positions.etc., thus make the effective rescue measure timely, implement effective rescuing live and commanding,improving the efficiency of the rescue work.This system have certain advance and practicability. There are important realistic meanings in improving the security production management of the colliery.
