This thesis adopts the distributing computer control as the whole controlling scheme, according to the application range of distributed computer control system and which combined with some characteristics of control system for all-positional welding, such as multiple control parameters and on-line response.Tailoring the communication task of control system, a serial communication network between master computer and slavery computers is designed, as well as synchro-control network among slavery computers are designed. Uniform message formats and communication protocols are made. Considering intensive disturbance of the welding locale, triple verification mode, for example data amount check,parameter type check and XOR check, is adopted to assure the reliability of communication among multiple computers, which fulfill the welding process control.The chinese character menu under the graphics model is adopted as a interface which communicates the operator to the master computer. The C language is used to program the data system and the operating system. All the welding parameters are stored in the database of the master computer and those welding parameters which are frequently used are defined beforehand, furthermore the selectable extent of each welding parameter is given according to the variers welding technology. Mouse can input and change all the data and the welding order. In order to control the welding parameter on the spot in real-time, the remotely controller is designed.This welding machine using the SCM and software double feedback- controling of pulsating wire feed and swing of tungsten electrode system, which has the feature of working stability and high ability of anti-jamming, so it can satisfy the technics request of Auto-pipe Welding Machine Control System.The welding machine using the seal technics of pulsating wire feed and swing of tungsten electrodeTIG, mechanical property of tie-in can meet the technics request.
