In welding workshop, hanging spot welding machine is widely used due to its stableperformance, convenient use, excellent welding results and other characteristics. Theresistance spot welding is a highly nonlinear, multi-variable coupling and many randomfactors of dynamic thermal process, in which the stability of welding parameters are themost important influencing factors. At present, controlling the working process of hangingspot welding machine has been very mature in domestic and foreign, however, because thestability of device components interfere welding parameters in the work process, thus thequality of welding is affected. Especially water-cooled cables all the time are moving inwelding so that it is very easy to damage, during this period it will continue to wear brokenthat lead to a reduction in cross-sectional area, which makes the specification parameterinstability and insufficient welding heat. The result affect the quality of the product in thatthe weld nugget size is insufficient and the connection strength decrease. So the workingparameter of welding cable should be real-time monitored which is an important guaranteefor the quality of welding. Welding process signals are usually monitored by means of wiretransmission, since the shortcomings that network wiring troubles and line faults aredifficult to examine, which appeared wireless communication technology. The use ofwireless data transmission cannot only reduce the production cost, improve productionefficiency, and technical personnel can be running status of remote monitoring of weldingequipment.The starting point of this topic is that hanging spot welding of constant current controlis added a network real-time monitoring system of spot welding parameters. The spotwelding parameters are transmitted to the host computer by means of wireless transmissionso that welding parameters of spot welder can maintain the real-time communication withPC. Therefore, all the spot welders are monitored using one or a few computers in weldingworkshop so that the change of welding parameters can be timely found, which hassubstantial improvement for welding quality.This paper is a part of spot welding monitoring network, the key point of design is thatgather welding current and welding voltage parameters of suspended spot welding machine with the slave computer and then transmit to the host computer (industrial PC) by wirelesstransmission, so as to realize constant monitor of spot welder welding parameters, whichbased on the slave computer with collecting spot welding parameters.This paper chooses ATmega16L as the main controller chip and nRF905as RFtransceiver chip, both exchange data through SPI communication protocol. Design wirelessdata transmission module, draw the schematic and PCB map by using Altium Designersoftware, weld all components and make a circuit board. The host computer uses ICCAVRas the development environment and writes programs with the C language.Owing to the existence of various interference sources in welding workshop, whichmakes the data interrupt,error, loss packet and so on in the transmission. So we take someanti-disturbance measures from both software and hardware, that makes the single-chipmicrocomputer work stably and reliably. PCB plate was manufactured, and then to debug it.And change the influence factors of wireless communication distance, in the weldingworkshop of Changchun Sanyou Automobile parts Manufacture Co,Ttd make wirelesscommunication capability and reliability test between host computer and slave computer.
