The solubility, thermostability and surfaceactivity of the obtained dendrimers have been investigated. The work was summarized asfollows:1. The first generation dendrimers G1.0(Cl)4 has been synthesized with ethylene diamine(EDA) as the core material and CNC as the branching monomer. Furthermore, 1.5generation dendrimers G1.5(OH)4 and G1.5(OH)8 with peripherical hydroxyl wereprepared from G1.0(Cl)4 reacting with ethanolamine (EA) and diethanolamine (DEA). Theeffects of the stuff molar ratio, the feed flow rate, the reaction time, as well as the varietyand dosage of base on the yields of product were carefully studied. These reactions werecarried out under wild conditions. The products could be separated and purified byextraction and precipitated with solvents, and their yields were larger than 94.0%.2. The experiments of G1.5(OH)4 reacting with CNC verified that reactivity of alcoholichydroxyl groups on the periphery of G1.5(OH)4 was very low.3. It was found that two products G1.0(Cl)2(NTO)2 and G1.0(NTO)4 could be obtainedthrough control of reaction conditions when G1.0(Cl)4 was functionalized byβ-naphthol.4. The structures of G1.0(Cl)4, G1.5(OH)4, G1.5(OH)8, G1.0(Cl)2(NTO)2 andG1.0(NTO)4 were characterized through the method of elementary analysis, MS, ~1H-NMRand FTIR.5. The solubility and thermostability of G1.0(Cl)4, G1.5(OH)4, G1.5(OH)8,G1.0(Cl)2(NTO)2, G1.0(NTO)4 were studied. G1.0(Cl)4 and G1.0(Cl)2(NTO)2 both had good solubility in DMSO. G1.5(OH)4 and G1.5(OH)8 were soluble in water, methanol, dioxolane and DMSO. G1.0(NTO)4 could be dissolved in acetone, dichloromethane, chloroform, THF, ethyl actate, and DMSO. TGA test proved that all products had goodthermostability.6. G1.5(OH)4 and G1.5(OH)8 both had surface activity, and the surface activity ofG1.5(OH)8 was better than G1.5(OH)4. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | 1,3,5-triazine, Dendrimers, Solubility, Thermostability, Surface Activity | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
