Coal-fired power plants, a big source of pollution, are focusing on how to reduce pollutants and increase efficiency as environmental protection is paid great attention to. Limestone/gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization has been proved to be an efficient desulfurization technique and applied widely. It requires skilled operators to ensure equipments safe and running economical because of the complexity of desulfurization system and severe environment. The training simulator can process not only On/Off control and operation training, but accident rehearsal and operation experiment which can't be done in site. It can also analyze accident and run economy of power plants and its training worthiness has been recognized broadly. Therefore, this dissertation is based on the dynamic characteristics and static characteristics of a spray tower desulphurization system, establishes the general models of its representative equipments and lays the foundation of developing a FGD real-time simulation system for a 600MW unit.Based on the research achievements of various chemical reaction, mass transfer, heat exchange, flow in the desulphurization technology, the conservation laws of mass-energy and some logical empirical formula, this dissertation firstly establishes the dynamic mathematical models of the spray tower and gas-gas heater in a Limestone/gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization system. Then, its dynamic simulation model is built up with FORTRAN programming language and the Euler method is adopted to solving model. Lastly, its correctness is validated through a lot of representative dynamic simulation experiments. The coherence of the simulation results and other correlative datum shows that the method and model are correct and achieve the precision demand of real-time simulation.The modular model is adopted for model buildup in this dissertation, so the established equipments modules possess the advantages of currency, open and repeatability. Therefore, it provides a good groundwork for improving the model and enhancing its precision.
