This paper focuses on the system and structure features of Wet Limestone/gypsum Flue Gas Desulphurization which were used in China widely, in order to study the whole dynamic and static characteristics of the units. With the support of STAR-90 version Windows2000, an integrated graphic modeling simulation software, the method of decomposing and integrating models of FGD unit is studied, the general algorithms of typical equipments of a FGD system are developed and used to build the real-time simulation models and also the operation performance are been simulated. Simulation results show that the model is available and the method of the modeling software is suitable for modeling and debugging of simulation models in complex systems, it is good to accumulate and reuse the model knowledge, and to improve the precision of model.
