Limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization technology is the most widely used and the most mature technology as well as the most adaptable thermal power generating unit of flue gas desulfurization technology in the world.With the increasing emphasis on environmental protection in our country,it has become the only choice for the new or modified desulfurization system in power plant,which is attributed to the abundant absorbent resources,low cost,purity by-product and high availability,mature and stable system,high efficiency of desulphurization and dust removal,adaptability to kinds of coal and other characteristics.Therefore,it is of great significance to try to improve the efficiency of desulfurization system and study the key factors that affect the efficiency of desulfurization system.In this paper,through the comprehensive analysis of the cause of the haze formation,and the main source of factors,such as automobile exhaust,coal-fired boiler emissions,dust and so on,combined with the current domestic environmental protection situation,puts forward that controlling the emission of SO2 in coal-fired unit is the most important part of environmental protection in China.Based on the development of flue gas desulfurization technology in China and abroad,the main technological methods and the factors of process selection of flue gas desulfurization are introduced and analyzed.It was mainly described the working principle,reaction process and characteristics of the limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization.Taking the most widely used single-loop absorption tower as the research center,through the entrance flue gas parameters,slurry pH value,L/G and Ca/S,the flue gas flow rate,limestone quality,spray layer and nozzle arrangement,demister design and other factors,to analyze and study the efficiency improvement of absorption tower,identified the related factors affecting the operation of absorption tower and efficient,and optimized the analysis.Taking the upgrade of absorption tower of desulfurization system of XX power plant as an example,based on the existing conditions of the plant,this paper optimized the speed,diameter and height parameters of the absorbent tower,the spray layer and nozzle parameters and the absorption tower recirculation system,so as to improve the optimal cost performance of the system upgrade,and provide theoretical basis for the design and upgrading of the desulfurization system.
