Simulation And Optimization The Activated Sludge Process Based The Activated Sludge Model No.2D

Activated sludge process has the merit of disposing efficiently and low operation expenses. So it was used mostly in municipal wastewater treatment plant, but the design,operation,management and optimization of activated sludge process mainly depend on experience. The purpose of the task is simulating the activated sludge process , instructing the operation,management and optimization of wastewater treatment plant and reducing the reliance on experience.The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly, this paper introduces the basic structure of WWTP,the process in common use and the development and application of simulation software domestic and international.Secondly, the difference and contact of every model has been overviewd; the assumption condition and practical limit of model also pointed out. The components,reaction process and the structure of the model has been introduced in detail.Thirdly, according to the process of technics and the characters of the inflow, the simulator has been compiled with MATLAB based on ASM2D. The MUCT process of the 1st stage of Shenzhen Luofang WWTP was simulated from May to October in 2006 by this simulator. The sensitivity of the dynamic parameters was analyzed and the dynamic parameters were calibrated based on the result in order to get a result more exactitude.Finally, the A~2/O,UCT and MUCT process that can be implemented by the 1st stage of Shenzhen Luofang WWTP was simulated and the optimal operation parameters of every process was pointed out by analyzing the control strategies, such as rate control of return sludge,the sludge retention time and DO. The condition of inflow Abnormal or C/N changing was simulated by optimal operating condition of every process and the suitable process was pointed out in different situation.
