Welding is a complicated physicochemical process which involves in electromagnetism, heat transferring, melting and freezing, phase-change, welding stress and deformation and so on. Because of the complexity of welding process, the research weld process produce hot and stress through method of experiment is very difficulty. With the development of computer science and technology, numerical simulation of welding phenomena has become a hot research topic domestically and abroad and has also been put into widely use.In this article, the writer established temperature field calculation model calculations taking into account the thermal properties of material parameters with temperature changes, the energy exchange of the weld pool with the outside world in the process of welding, and the melting/solidification phase transition temperature effects. The dual-elliptical surface heat source distribution model, which is a better distribution of TIG welding heat flow patterns, is used. Also the writer calculated the dynamic simulation of weld stress using the indirect method with the temperature field calculation results. This article provides a theoretical guidance for the complex three-dimensional structure of welding temperature, stress. And promote the application of finite element at weld Welding mechanical and engineering. As the welding of LF6 for example, this article analyzed the effect of the welding speed on the temperature field and the size of the weld pool. And the evolution of the longitudinal stress on the section which is vertical to the weld line was analyzed. To simplify the analysis process, A secondary development for Ansys has been done based on the VC++ and APDL. The software with a friendly interface, and easy to use, which will enable engineering staff even if not familiar with ANSYS software can also use the system analysis the temperature and stress very well, so that researchers can experience in welding a preliminary analysis of initial projections and evaluation.
