| Manganese oxide and hydroxid belong to manganese ores with sandwhich and porous structure. It has stronge adsorption and catalytic oxidation performance under certain conditions. It has superior environmental properties. It has been studied at home and abroad in a number of fields. But it has less application in reality of the manganese pollution control. This paper analyses ingredient of manganese mineral and mineralogy character from Qingyang of AnHui province. It discussed sulfide removal capacity, product, mechanism and regeneration effect of sulfureted hydrogen, studyed treating wastewater containing heavy metals through the dynamic experimental by the products of the desulfurization at the first time, investigated the effects of several different factors, as well as the treatment effect and mechanism. The paper studyed the mechanism of the dealing by using the XRD, SEM , EDS and other modern analysis technology and analysed the value of the recovery of heavy metals. It would make the foundation for the application in Environmental Engineering for the oxidation of Manganese mineral. The experimental results show that the manganese mineral mainly contains todorokite , rancieite and quartz and so on.It has high content of total manganese and MnO2, the surface area and oxidation degree. Manganese ore desulfurization effect is good. Desulfurization capacity of 0.45-0.9mm manganese mineral is 334mgS2-/g manganese ore. The size of manganese ore makes great impact on the desulfurization capacity. The renewable effect is not good. The regeneration effect gradually decreases with the more regeneration frequency. Manganese ore desulfurization products have the significant treatment effect on wastewater containing heavy metals (Cu, Cd, Hg). The processing rate is over 99%. Reducing influent flow, reducing the influent concentration, enhancing influent pH and reducing the size of desulfurization Manganese ore are beneficial to raise the treatment capacity. The approach has higher recovery value of heavy metals to the recycling of resources. |
