Chinese rice wine is a crusted kind of beverages and is also one of the oldest beverages in the world. There are kinds of rich macro- and trace elements in it, and they are imported from various procedures of production. The rice wine has been claimed to have health-promoting effects, which may be related to these elements. The quality of the rice wine also depends on these elements level in some degree.A microwave assisted digestion procedure has been developed for digestion of 44 kinds of Chinese rice wine samples prior to the atomic absorption Spectrometry and the inductively coupled plasma mass Spectrometry determination of their elemental composition. The results of determination of Zn,Fe,K,Na,Ca,Mg by AAS and the 50 kinds of microelements such as Li,Cu, by ICPMS were satisfied. In addition, the levels of these elements of the rice and the water which was brewed for the wine sample were also determined. So from the data, we had researched the transformation and the origin of these elements of the rice wine. And the method developed can be recommended for routine multi-element analysis of the Chinese rice wine and other drinking with alcohol.The study of Chinese rice wine indicates that the contents of elements in them are concerned with producing area,producing time,deposited time and the different manufacturers. There is a huge distinction of the elements contents between them that have different brands and from different area. In general, famous rice wines have more contents of nutritious elements than others.
