The Development Of The Cotton-spinning Mill Design System Based On AutoCAD VBA

In the paper, we briefly introduce the purpose and meaning,the ways and means of the design system. Then introduce system development environment and the Cotton-spinning Mill design process. Finally describe in detail the design process through example and the operation methods and the principles of the design system, such as craft calculation module,Spinning workshop module,Roving workshop module etc. The research method of the design system is that make use of AutoCAD which is used widely in the world as a platform and choose VBA (Visual Basic Application) as the second development tool. The designing idea of the system is that carries through craft calculation according to the given parameters first. Then is that progresses parameter and automation according to the tactic principle of the machines of the Cotton-spinning Mill workshop. The system processes secondary development by using VBA of AutoCAD, after user inputs the necessary parameters in the main form, the system can carry through craft calculation automatically, the drawing of machines of every workshop will be showed automatically in AutoCAD screen,so we can realize the parameter and automation of the drawing of the Cotton-spinning Mill workshop in deed.The system makes sure the distance of pillar, then determines the width of the spinning workshop according to the Spinning machines, last expresses tactic rules of the various workshops to use the calculator language Visual Basic. The drawing of machines will be clearly showed in AutoCAD screen when you run the system. If user has special demands, he can conveniently modify and compile the drawing in AutoCAD screen. User can also independently draw a workshop in the system and can also draw the whole workshop of the Cotton-spinning Mill.
