The rapid development of the electronic industry make great contributions to the modernization of the world industry,and also is changing people's traditional life style.The PCB industry is the foundation of the electronic industry,and The electric circuit board is the carrier of each kind of electronic compoment.PCB board must be used in order to have a electrical connection between each part,so long as electronic installation has electronic compoments,slightly as the electronic watch, the calculator,big as the computer,the communication electronic installation, military armament system.The electronic products are transitting from minitype to microtype and the kind of transition deeply relies on the precision enhancement of making board.This paper mainly foucus on the introduction of the electric control system of the PCB drilling machines with high precision,and analyzes the present market requirements and the development direction of the PCB drilling machines,proposes the overall plan and the design frame of the control system.To realize functions of the system,it takes the SIMOTION D movement control system as the main controller,the sensors as measuring component,the electromotors,the electromagnetic valve,the air operated pressure foot and the manipulator as the functional elements.To directs this system,SIMOTION D receiving datas and instructions from the centrel computer through TCP/IP connection,receives exterior signal from expanding I/O through PROFIBUS.The paper detailedly introduces the system's hardware design,software programming and the principles of the communications bettween the control computer and SIMOTION D.SIMOTION D is used as the controlling core of the system,and the distributional I/O ET200M is used as SIMOTION D's expanding I/O to receive exterior sensor signal including the digital signal and the simulation signal,and the output of the ET200M is used to control the transducer of Main axle.In order to realize the higher control precision,SIMOTION D,the transducer, the electromotor,the diffraction grating ruler are used to carry out the entire closed-loop control.In order to enhance the productivity,the PCB drilling machines have the functions such as clamping work piece automatically,changing the knife automatically,rapid tool setting,tool breakage detection,communication detection (automatically establish connection bettween the centrel computer and SIMOTION D)and so on to realize the automatization.It is proved by the study of sample and experiment that the electric control system of the PCB drilling machines with high precision is successful,it has high ability of anti-jamming,reliability,and higher ability of dynamic response.
