Bon occupied dominant position in Tibet as the original religion before Buddhism came in. Buddhism came after a long-term mutual rivalry with Bon and absorption, exclusion and integration, forming a Buddhist teachings Bon and Tibetan Buddhism of Bon features .The belief that all things on earth having souls and holy mountains and lakes worship deriving from it, created a very important role upon Tibetan ecological culture and Tibetan nationality psychological formation. Tibetan ecological culture , that is being effected by belief of Bon and later Tibetan Buddhism , taking form under grim natural conditions in Tibetan Plateau, to protect consciously ecological environment rely on for existing, the ecological concept and life-style of coexist with nature harmoniously. The core of Tibetan ecological culture is to exist with nature harmoniously, and it has adapted to the Tibetan ecological environment and social environment, and produced important effect on Tibetan nationality's life-style and socioeconomic development.
