The metameric anti-counterfeiting technique is one kind of new printing ink security technology and has the high application value. The technique is security technology using rule that color appearance is different under the different light source. Through discussing the metameric ink,the paper obtains the corresponding theoretical foundation and the characteristic. On this basis, we discuss the decision method of metameric degree. Because the beforehand metameric index's decision method has the respective advantages and disadvantages, the paper analyzes the beforehand method use statistical analysis and combined with the partition function in mathematics to weight revision the metameric index. Finally I carry on the corresponding confirmation through the experiment.
