To provide a halftone print with an accurate spectral reflectance model is a subject that draws closes attention in the field of image reproduction. This paper presents the reflection model by Markov chain theory of random walk approach, considered the fact of total reflectance when light propagate to thin refractive medium from dense medium, we establish the reflectance mathematics model of halftone image coated with different refractive ink layers. and established ink spreading model and confirmed effective coverage using Canny detector to confirm the edge detector; Analyzed the reflection and transition of penetration of ink, finding that the ink density distribution presented exponent, combined with Kubelka-Munk theory, we gained the transfer matrix; and considered optical dot gain caused by landscape orientate scattering, we modified the Williams-Clapper model using experiment probability model. In the last, we verify it by experiment.
