The developing progress of die forging on high energy screw press in domestic and aboard is stated in this paper, process characteristic and applied range of die forging on high energy screw press is expatiated. The curve of force and energy for high energy screw press and traditional screw press,die forging process of circular section,bending section and special section,flash design and die structure design are studied. Confirmation for Process parameter of every kind of forging,die forging process and die design,establishment of heat process and quality control are grasped .Process contrast test between die forging and loose tooling forging of circular section,bending section and special section are carried through. High energy screw press can produce high precision forging,die have long working life,working condition is well, productivity is moderate. It's especially ideal for high precision forging, for instance locomotive rocker pin support,pitman head,airplane blade and auto steering knuckle etc .By far, our country has not criterion and standard for die forging process and die design of high energy screw press. By analyzing the force and energy curve of high energy screw press and traditional press,the forming process, optimizing forge process parameter and carrying out die process test, We educe empirical formula for choosing nominal pressure of the high energy screw press.Make process certification for rocker pin support,connecting rod cap and crankshaft gear etc ,confirm forging process specification, realize batch production.The study method and the results of this paper probably have special reference to the technical research of die forging process and die design on high energy screw press.
