Basing on a lot of data and on-the-spot investigations and adopting analysis of theory and mechanical analysis, this article has done deep and meticulous research on roof separation and support technology of mining roadways in deep mine in order to gain the main followings: mechanical mechanism and condition of forming separation; the main factors of affecting roof separation in mining roadways; definitive method of critical value of roof separation; archeological analysis of surrounding rocks. What's more, basing on the geological condition and the occurrence of coal seam of the first working face in Liuzhuang coal mine of SDIC Xinji No.13-(?)coal seam, adopting FLAC2D numerical simulation, this article tries to optimize bolting optimization; under lead abutment pressure, when the length of roof bolt in mining roadways and ribs bolt are both chosen as 2.2meter, which of spacing is 0.8×0.8m, it can obtain a better effect in controlling deformation of surrounding rocks in roadway, what's important, it's deforming and plastic zone both trend to stable low parameter; next, according to the on-the-spot investigations, which of surface separation is higher than that of deep separation, in the first working face of Liuzhuang coal mine No.13-(?)coal seam , the critical value of roof separation in mining roadways, which is 100mm before first weighting of main roof and it is 120mm after first weighting of main roof. Support method: in tunneling period, using wire meshes beam and cable anchor if roof is complete, otherwise, using U type shed; in mining period, using articulated beam shed. In the end of this article, it analyzes the advantages of wire meshes beam and cable anchor. Results in this paper have a certain instructive sense to cracked roof management and similar condition of roadway in deep mine.
