With the increment of depth of coal resources mining, the characteristics of large scale of cracked range, large deformation, and large difficulty in maintenance gradually emerges, and the supporting mechanism of deep mining roadways and the supporting technology, in coal mine production and safety, become more and more important. Based on the failure analysis of deep mining roadway supporting, combining with the theory and technology of existing deep roadway supporting, coupled supporting mechanism of "hydraulic support-bolt-solid-surrounding rock" was put forward and the hydraulic support with characteristics of large deformation and roadway circulation was developed. mechanism and technology of deep roadway supporting, by theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field test, was researched. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of characteristics of deformation and fracture characteristics of deep mining roadway surrounding rock, by means of numerical simulation, failure process of combined supporting of the bolt-cable-shed was analyzed, reveals the bolt, anchor cable, shed support not between retaining coupling and the shed support small deformation is the result of combined support failure reason.(2) With the help of elastic-plastic theory, the expression of the deep roadway surrounding rock plastic zone and fracture zone radius, rock stress and displacement of surrounding rock was deduced. Two ways of controlling of deep roadway surrounding rock deformation:one is increasing the roadway support resistance and the other is improvement of crushing zone of residual strength of rock, was further revealed. Based on the study of promoting the stability of roadway and bolt reinforcement, coupled supporting mechanism of "hydraulic support-bolt-solid-surrounding rock" was put forward.(3) According to coupled supporting mechanism of "hydraulic support-bolt-solid-surrounding rock" in the deep mining roadways, support design basis and principles was summed up. Combining4333working face of geological conditions and support parameters, the hydraulic support with characteristics of large deformation and roadway circulation was developed. Using modern design method, based on3D solid model, the stability of the finite element analysis was analyzed.(4) By means of numerical simulation, the interrelation of "hydraulic support-bolt-solid-surrounding rock" coupling support, in process of tunneling and mining, was studied. The effect of coupled supporting of roadway surrounding rock deformation, stress distribution, and plastic zone development was analyzed.(5) The above research results applied in deep roadway support in engineering practice, through field monitoring, application of "hydraulic support-bolt-solid-surrounding rock" coupling supporting mechanism and deformation of circular sent in deep roadway surrounding rock control was proved to be effective.
