| As an important process of fiber-reinforced composites, sheet molding compound (SMC) technology draws worldwide attention recently. Because it's high degree of mechanization, high production efficiency, steady product quality, low cost, it quickly becomes an important molding process in the fiber-reinforced plastic (Referred to as FRP) industry. To meet the auto-leveling system's precision and leveling-time request, the auto-leveling system and the work platform were designed.The Pro/Engineer was taken as the application development platform. The Pro/Mechanica and Pro/mechanism module were used for the parts design and device simulation. It can improve design efficiency, reduce production costs and save time, thereby enhancing production efficiency.The paper mainly includes several parts as follows,1. The characteristics, development and application of SMC were introduced, the development and research of the leveling system in recent years were described both at home and abroad, to clarify the importance of this research.2. To build the platform's static model and analyze the platform's load trait. On the basis of static model, the platform's leveling scheme has been studied, then the leveling scheme—keep the highest point steady's scheme, which main purpose is to shorten leveling-time, improve leveling-precision and control the platform's height was chosen.3. This was followed by the leveling system of hydraulic drive system design. The fuel tank, pumps, valves, and other components based on the hydraulic system are calculated and chosen. Then the hydraulic leveling system schematic was drawn.4. Then the work platform has been designed in Pro/Engineer. We design, model and assembly all the components in Pro/Engineer. So that the work platform and leveling system modeling is more visual, convenient, easy to modify the parameters and meet production needs.5. According to the rules of the molding machine, the movement based on the model we designed by Pro/Engineer has been simulated .Then the relationship between the Movement and the molding products were analyzed, to provide guidance of the actual production.6. At last the entire hydraulic molding hydraulic circuit was designed, the way of hydraulic transmission was chosen, the schematic was drawn and a detailed explanation of the hydraulic system was conduct. |
