The Perception Of Safety Measures And Safety Behavior Of Operating Employee In Industrial Factory

Nowadays,Thailand's society will change to be an industrial's society because of Thailand's economic growth has developed rapidly and the structure of the economy of Thailand is changing all the time from agricultural to industrial.The modern automatic machine system is very complicated. If without the suitable standard about safety management system the problem about employee's health will be occur.So the researcher realize to study about the perception of safety measures and safety behavior of operating employee and encourage about safety management system in establishments or factory.The main objectives of this study are1.To study about general safety management system in industrial factory.2.To study and estimate level of perception of safety measures and safety behavior of operating employee in industrial factory. 3.To study the correlation between the perception of safety measures and safety behavior of operating employee in industrial factory.And the specific objectives are1.To understand about safety management system and level of perception of safety measures and safety behavior of operating employee in industrial factory.2.As the way to improve and develop safety management system for more efficiency.3.As the way to develop the middle media for promote and supplement the good opinion about working safety and take to right safety behavior.This research is study at Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Public Co.,Ltd.of Thailand(IRPC) in Rayong Province,Thailand.The researcher has consulted with an advisor and 2 professional safety officers to develop the measurement instrument which used for estimating the perception of safety measures and safety behavior of operating employee is divided into 5 sections consisting of:using Personal Protective Equipment(PPE),using instrument and machine with safety condition,alarm signal and prepare for emergency condition,law and policy of safety and suitable environment for do the work respectively.The questionnaire is developed to collect data and population of perception of safety measures and safety behavior are study from 240 operating employees in Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Public Co.,Ltd.of Thailand(IRPC) respectively.The conclusion of this case study,the perception of safety measures of operating employees in Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Public Co.,Ltd.of Thailand(IRPC) in section of using Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is on the good level,using instrument and machine with safety condition is on the excellent level,alarm signal and prepare for emergency condition is on the excellent level,law and policy of safety is on the good level and suitable environment for do the work is on the good level,too.Hence,the overview of perception of safety measures of operating employees in Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Public Co.,Ltd.is on the good level.The safety behavior of operating employees in Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Public Co.,Ltd.is on the good level.The correlation between perception of safety measures and safety behavior of operating employees in Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Public Co.,Ltd.is positive at 0.01 statistically significance level and the Product Moment Correlation is 0.63.
