Rubber foam or sponge is a porous material which has a unique structure.The large a mount of pores existed in the matrix reduce the weight of materials thus significantly broaden its application in the field of engineering.Rubber foam material is a traditional material,which has long been used in the field of structural,packaging, sound proof and insulation areas because of its excellent mechanical properties. However polymer foam material has been widely used in many areas with the environment problems being made.In this paper,we aim at the problems of resource shorting and "white pollution" study into the preparation of foamed rubber and the relationship between its structure and properties.To prepare high performance and property controllable rubber foam,we designed the orthogonal experiment and obtained the optimum technological parameters.The research shows that three main factors influence the mechanical properties are discussed in this paper that are content of foaming agents,content of plant fiber(MMT) and process parameters.We studied on the relationship among the preparation, morphology and mechanical properties of the rubber foam composite.The foamed rubber can absorb a large amount of energy in deformation because of its porous structure,thus often used as cushion and damping materials.But the study of its energy absorption property is far from enough before.To study the compressive behavior and energy-absorption characteristics of the NR foam.Compressive stress-strain curves of natural rubber foam composites with different density were measured.The experiential formulas and characteristic factors of compressive stress and strain curves of the NR foam rubber are extracted by using Method of Least Mean Square and the nonlinear fitting method of Gauss-Newton. The results showed that the stress-strain curves of NR foams have two regions:a linear elasticity region and a densification region.The influence of density on compressive stress-strain properties were discussed,from which energy-absorption characteristics were also investigated by the means of cushion coefficient,Overpassed compressive stress-strain performance test-datas established math model got that at the distortion of 15%-30%area the material had the less cushion coefficient,it's cushioning effects was best.A further study on Foaming Mechanism. |
