The drilling pump is one of the three function part of drilling rig,It carrys the rocky scrap from the bottom of pump and supply the power to the power drill of the bottom. The developing of the industry of oil need higher demands to the pump.it mainly about the pressure of the pump is higher and higher,the power is biger and biger, while the cost of the make and keep in repair is smaller and smaller, and the volume and weight cann't be too high , the fluctuations of the flow cann't be too big. At present,the triplex reciprocating is widespread used. Although the triplex pump pressure and flow to meet the basic needs on the needs of modern drilling , there are shortcomings as it use crank and connecting rod drive. The weight is big,The the fluctuations of the flow is big, While the power is low,and the life of the function part is short . all these Incompatible with the modern drilling rig who is energy efficient and fast-moving, and China's drilling pump technology and research have greatly improvedthan in the past but there are still large gaps with the international standards. many of the parameters of drilling pumps which foreign country used many years ago, can only meet the boring basically requirements. This article is based on the above shortcomings of the triplex pump and optimize the system parameters started to improve the efficiency of the study. In this article , drilling pump is composition by motor, crankshaft, connecting rod, herringbone gear, under cross referral, piston and other parts. The power is provided by electricity Motor,and driven by the pistons.In this paper,it gives an overview of the drilling pump's development at present atfirst, and then research the Mud Pump 1300HP structure from the kinematics, dynamics and other aspects, after that use the Solidworks software to do three-dimensional modeling and virtual assembly for the key components,then use the CosmosMotion to do Itsdynamic simulation. Geting the simulation results the definition of each assembly with the surface and parts. Then import the more stress of the Load situation of working condition into the Workbench Software . Make Stress Analysis,and use the Parameters of the result as the Constraints to do Optimization analysis and can get the parts's Optimal Size. Such as the Optimized size of link:A big size is 900.8mm,A small size is 320.6mm,The connecting rod length is 1122.6mm, and the Optimized size of gear shaft: Modulus is 8,Pressure angle is 20°,Helix angle is 22°. So the Mud Pump 1300HP's Power client is Optimizaed. At last,the drilling pump has a smooth, light weight, high efficiency, rapid movement, the flow fluctuations in very small, more flexible combination of power and so on.
