High speed machining(HSM) is a new comprehensive technique,which integrating Material Science with Engineering Mechanics,Information Science, Cybernetics and Manufacturing Technology.High speed machining,together with precision machining,high energy beam processing and flexible automatic processing, make up the four types of Advanced Manufacturing Technology nowadays.The conjunction between High speed machine tool and cutting tool effects performance & quality of HSM directly.Tool holder and tooling system,which are the components of conjunction,are cared by national and international scholar.In numerous tool system of HSM application,AHO(English abbreviation for Accurate Hollow Shank) tool system have its character and background of engineering application.It has theoretical and practical significance to carry out basic study on AHO tool system.Based on analysis of various high speeds tooling system,performance and working mechanism of AHO tool holder and its tool system are carried out.The static and dynamic characteristic of AHO tool holder and spindle couple are studied by theory analysis and numerical simulation method.The major creative work and research conclusion of this dissertation were as follows:1.Through systematically analyzing the structure and performance of AHO tool system by comparing with the BT tool system,this paper clarifies the meaning of its unique structure and its superiority to that of the structural.It provides theoretical proof to build numerical model correctly.2.Mechanical model of AHO tool holder end surface was built out.On the base of through theory analysis and numerical simulation method of AHO tool system, researches performed on the main factors affecting stiffness of AHO tool system.Result showed that slot effects radial rigidity smaller,keep clamping state is the key of AHO tool system for excellent performance.3.On the base of through analysis taper interface of AHO tool holder and spindle couple in different clamping,put forward the new method of taper interface for decrease stress concentration. 4.The result of theory analysis and numerical simulation method shows that speed increase will increase gap between tapers interface gradually.Through analyzing its mechanism profoundly,it will accumulate beneficial material to self-development of new type tool holder.This paper deals with AHO tool system for the first time at home,enrich design theories of tool system in high speed machining,narrow the study gap on tool system between China and developed countries,and provide powerful technical supports on manufacturing and using of tool system in high speed machining.
