On the basis of the study of the property of the bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber,the spinning process,the weaving process of the fabric,the preparation preprocess, heat-set techniques,the tensile properties of bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber and cotton fiber blended yarn,the physical mechanical properties and wearing comfort properties and the health care properties of the bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber and cotton fiber blended knitted fabrics were studied.First,the tensile properties of bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber and cotton fiber blended yarn were tested and analyzed with single yarn tester.It is found that the blended yarn with good properties can be exploited with proper blended ratio and the elasticity of the blended yarn was good.Second,the physical mechanical properties and wearing comfort properties of the blended knitted fabric were tested and analyzed with proper tester.The results showed that the wearing properties of the blended knitted fabric were good.As the increasing of the blended ratios of the bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber,the breathability, draping property,rigid felexible,warmth retention property and pilling property become better and better.But the wear resistence of fabric is not very well.Finally,combined with the trend of the development of the bamboo-carbon fiber knitted fabric,the negative ion property of the bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber and cotton fiber blended knitted fabric were studied.The results showed that the blended knitted fabric has good property of negative ion,and the emission measure of negative ion would be greater and greater as the increasing of the blended ratios of the bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber.The antibacterial activity of the fabric was studied with absorption method,it is found that the blended fabric has good biocidal property.The antibacterial activity of fabrci would be very well when the blended ratio of the bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber is above 75%,and the antibacterial activity will be better and better with the increase of bamboo-carbon modified polyester fiber.The exploitation and application will be extended by means of the study of this paper.
