This thesis introduced the study on how to use the three-dimensional data cloud of human foot and template last to design customized shoe last models, and how to modify the shoe last locally to further meet the individual requirements.With the technique of reverse engineering, the foot and last were built as surface models respectively. With the graphics processing technique, the feature points were located to obtain the characteristic parameters of the feet and the last. The template last was divided into up and bottom parts, each modeled respectively. The position of each feature points on the bottom in length direction was related to the foot length parametrically. The up is determined with the relationship among the three girths, the top profile of the up and the 20 contours of the last. The parametric model of the template last was established based on them, and was feature-parametric driven. The local modification was done on the 20 contours of the last. At the end,it gave the final conclusions and pointed out the future research direction.
