Research On Commissioning Operation Of Landfill Leachate Pretreatment In Middle-sized And Small Towns

As the development of environmental protection and sanitation, more and more garbage treatment plants is planed and being constructed nationwide, as a result, the treatment of landfill leachate, which comes and increases together with the garbage, becomes a very serious environmental problem we can't neglect. In this thesis, by analyzing the characteristics of the leachate in Peng Zhou garbage treatment plant, supported by a Holland government loan, demonstrate the possibility of achieving the discharge standards grade III in the national code by pretreatment technology, evaluate the adaptability of the landfill leachate pretreatment scheme, and raise a flow of work for the landfill leachate pretreatment.In the thesis, firstly, the problems of landfill leachate treatment is pointed out by lucubrating the status of the work in middle-sized and small towns in the country,then by analyzing the experiment data from the commissioning operation of landfill leachate treatment in Peng Zhou garbage treatment plant,raised the conclusions:(i) For the reasons of design, construction, operation etc of the plant, the quality and quantity of the leachate changes dramatically, so the technological adaptability and operational flexibility must be fully considered, the plant must has a certain level of ability for shock load and easy to be modified(ii) When select a treatment technology, priority should be given to the one with the most adaptability and operational flexibility for quality and quantity change. The anaerobic regulation tank + SBR reaction tank + flocculation and sedimentation tank technology for the pretreatment of landfill leachate in our middle-sized and small towns is feasible. The leachate from anaerobic regulation tank, after a 12 hours explosion, 80% of CODcr and 95% of ammonia nitrogen can be removed, and the flocculation and sedimentation can obviously improve the visual index of the biochemical treated outlet water.With the experience and summing-up in the commissioning operation of landfill leachate treatment in Peng Zhou garbage treatment plan for middle-sized and small town garbage treatment plant, raise the frame of references:(i) In design and construction, to prevent underground water pollution from and to reduce the quantity of landfill leachate, full attention should be paid to the antiseep system and sewage and storm system. Besides, to avoid overflow in storm, the volume of its regulating reservoir should be as huge as possible.(ii) In management, the plant maintenance and operation regulations should be strictly followed, the management team should be periodically trained to improve their skills.The general techniques of middle-sized and small town garbage landfill leachate treatment are treatment in plant, combined treatment and back fill treatment. Among these 3 techniques, treatment in plant require over long process, complicated management at high cost but hard to adapt to water quality variation, hence, it is not economical to set up a small scale separate treatment system. Combined treatment have a low investment and operation fees, especially the landfill treatment plant and the sewerage treatment plant is close to each other, so it is suitable to regional and financial conditions of middle-sized and small town of China, however, it must comply with the related environment regulation of China once applied. Technique of backfill treatment of garbage leachate treatment require few facilities, low investment ,low operation cost and easy management, however, environment sanitation and human feeling should be considered. In conclusion, based on conditions of middle-sized and small town of China and new effected discharge standard of garbage landfill leachate treatment, the suitable technique of landfill leachate treatment should be backfill treatment + biological treatment + deep treatment.The commissioning and operation of middle-sized and small town garbage landfill leachate treatment plant include: preparation work before commissioning, start of all treatment unit, monitoring and data analysis.
