Studies On Mechanism Of Bamboo Separating Into Fiber And Process Optimization By Physical Method

Recently, as a new type of natural plant fiber with its unique performances, bamboo fiber has been more and more concerned by professional and consumers. The researches about bamboo fiber are continuously made. However the bamboo fiber is developed slowly, because the understanding of bamboo characteristics is not enough and the fiber separation mechanism is difficult to grasp. Hence the real bamboo fiber products are hardly seen in the market. By the research we hope to speed up the development on the bamboo fiber separation theory and explore the suitable bamboo fiber preparation process.In this paper, in view of the problems in the current preparation method of bamboo fiber, by means of the research method in composite materials, we studied the separation process of bamboo. In the researches, the bamboo is taken as a natural one-way fiber-reinforced composite material. We put forward a theory of bamboo separating into fiber, that is the "load ---- relax, slip----fiber". Using the micro-mechanics research method, the separation conditions of bamboo are derived. Then the effective form of bamboo separation is explored by experiment. The results showed that: the separation effect of bamboo was effect by the load form and size. The suitable way of the bamboo separation is to carry out pressure combined with ultrasonic treatment. In this article the feasibility of bamboo dividing into fiber is also analyzed, and parameters of bamboo dividing into fiber were optimized by experiments. With single factor and orthogonal experiment method, we obtained the factors that have an effect on bamboo fiber specifications. The results showed that: the tool density, treating number and rows of tool have greater impact on fiber specifications.In the bamboo fiber preparation process of this topic, physical methods are used, supplemented by chemical treatment. Under the condition that bamboo fiber is not damaged and the fiber fineness, evenness and rate of production were ensured, bamboo fibers are separated and extracted from the bamboo. We hope to achieve the textile bamboo fiber so as to provide a theoretical guidance for bamboo fiber preparation in industrial production.
