In the modern age in which human beings and manufacturing technology go hand in hand, human demands call for more attention, which provides plenty of room for the further development of user-friendly operating methods in industries. Under such circumstance, the author, in the present study, conducts an in-depth analysis of the design of the man-machine interface in the industrial design of NC machine tools. The present study gives full consideration to both the physical and psychological requirements of human beings in the process of operation in order for the design to be more user-friendly.With field studies and in-depth surveys and researches as the starting point and based on a full knowledge of the status quo and development orientation of the research in this field both at home and abroad, the author conducts a research on existing NC machine tools. In the present study, human, machine and environment, which are considered to be the three major factors in the design of man-machine interface of NC machine tools, are analyzed and researched in a detailed and in-depth way. The present study aims to make the interface design of NC machine tools commensurate with human operating requirements and accommodate both the physical and psychological needs of operators. The thesis, starting with the design dimension, shape, color and other aspects in man-machine engineering, puts forward theoretical support and data for reference in the hope of providing a set of scientific research methodology and ideas for design and contributing to the endeavor to make NC machine tool design more user-friendly and scientific in the future.
