| Recently the development of wool and wool blending fabric garments is towards to be flimsy,sports and healthy.In the market the demand of refreshing and deodorizing fabric is increasing. But the being pungent to skin and biology toxic of chemical deodorizing agent is disputed.β-CD is a kind of small circularity polysaccharide and its special hydrophobic cavity can include smell gas. Soβ-CD can adsorb the bad smell(such as the sweat,the smell of body and the cigarette )and the effection of biology deodorizing can be got.The method of using microcapsule, bond,sol-gel, epichlorohydrin and polycarboxylic acids are always used to graftβ-CD to the fabric.The cross-linking by polycarboxylic acids is easy to do and the water-fastness is good,also the hand feeling after finishing has no obvious change.There is few study about the cross-linking method deodorizing byβ-CD used to wool production.As the commission given by some corporation,in the paper I used BTCA and CA as the cross-linking agent to do the deodorizing finishing to the wool blending fabric byβ-CD.In the presence of high temperature and catalyzer the polycarboxylic acids was reactive with the hydroxyl ofβ-CD,and also reactive with the amido of wool fiber.By which I grafted theβ-CD onto the fabric and the adsorption capability to bad smell gas ofβ-CD was withholded.To comparing with cross-linking method I studied the deodorizing effection of the fabric be finished byβ-CD and water-soluble PU together in one bath.At first by testing the fabric's adsorption value to ammonia I studied the factors such as the concentration of deodorizing agent,CA and catalyzer,and the temperature and time of curing how to effect the adsorption value to ammonia of wool blending fabric finished by the processe ofβ-CD and CA together in one bath. And then I got the appropriate process of deodorizing.The adsorption value to ammonia of the fabric finished by the appropriate process was as much as about double of the fabric not finished.The result was not good enough.By the same way I studied the processe ofβ-CD and BTCA together in one bath to finish the wool blending fabric.And I got the appropriate process.The adsorption value to ammonia of the fabric finished by the appropriate process was as much as about 4.5 times of the fabric not finished.For the anti-smell effection,BTCA was better than CA, and the curing time the cross-linking reaction needed for BTCA was half of the time CA needed. The testing result indicated that the strength, shrinkage and hand feeling of the fabric finished respectivly by BTCA or CA were not obvious different from the ones not finished.As the high price of BTCA it won't be used industrialized in short time.In this experiment I tried to use the mixture containing the same WT of BTCA and CA as the cross linking agent for anti-smell finishing.The adsorption value to ammonia of the fabric finished by the appropriate process was as much as about 3 times of the fabric not finished.The result was worse than that of BTCA, but was better than that of CA.At the last of the experiment I graftedβ-CD onto the fabric by PU,and by the same factor experiment as the polycarboxylic acids cross linking I got the appropriate process. The adsorption value to ammonia of the fabric finished by the appropriate process about 3 times of the fabric not finished.Compared with the fabric finished by cross linking there was some change of hand feeling and color after the fabric was finished by PU.As a whole the anti-smell effection of the fabric finished by cross linking was better than that by binding.The fabric finished by the appropriate process by BTCA was tested by JAPAN SPINNERS INSPECTING FOUNDATION, and the result indicated that the fabric was satisfied the deodoring standards and has good water-fastness. |
