Simulation Software Development Of Finishing Hot Strip Rolling

Hot strip steel is one of the main product of steel industry. These products are widely used in industry produces, agriculture machines and construction industry. These kinds of strips are also the necessary material of cool rolling, weld tube and cold banding beam. The output and quality of hot strip is very important for the development of steel industry.In this paper, I use traditional radiate temperature exchange formula and calculus method to simulate the temperature of hot rolling strip. And I researched some familiar formulas, then I used these formulas in different area to get more accurate simulate result. With the colligation calculate of the velocity, the temperature and the rolling force, we can almost simulate the process of strip rolling.After enable the simulation of strip rolling, I researched the method of make the GUI of the simulate program visualizable. And I make a GUI to input the parameters of strip rolling.The GUI of the simulate program is made by Visual Basic, a programming tool of Microsoft. I use the method mix-programming to make the GUI can use the simulate program, which write by C++. In that way, the program works well, it can be used to calculate a wide kinds of strip rolling processes. After compute some examples, I make sure that the results of the simulation are acceptable too.
