As the coke plant wastewater are complicated, containing a large number of ammonia and toxic and hazardous and bio-degradable material, and water quality and quantity changes, is difficult using conventional biophysical compliance. In this study the water quality characteristics for coke plant wastewater by using O3 pre-oxidation+ A2/O reactor+activated carbon filter combined process of the coking wastewater treatment research.During the test the first of the A2/O activated sludge reactor for inoculation and cultivation of domesticated and then return ratio by adjusting the mixture to study the individual A2/O reactor coking wastewater COD, NH3-N,TN and the degradation of SS characteristics is studied, and through continuous analysis of test results to determine the A2/O reactor run separately on the best operating parameters and control conditions. The results show that in the mixture ratio of 3Q, the influent COD, NH3-N, TN and SS were for the 500-600 mg/L,100-200 mg/L,120-220 mg/L and 80-120 mg/L, when, COD, NH3-N, TN and SS removal efficiency was 73.77%,68.20%,62.30%and 60.55%. The results show that the single A2/O reactor coking wastewater treatment can be achieved certain results, but still some distance away from the water up to standard.Through process improvement, with A2/O+activated carbon filters in series reactor process technology through continuous experiments of this series properties of coking wastewater treatment studies, the results show that in the A2/O reactor residence time of 30 hours, the mixture reflux ratio of 3Q, the system average concentration of effluent:COD=81.41 mg/L, NH3-N= 36.08 mg/L, TN= 41.49 mg/L, phase corresponding to the average removal rates were 85.65%,74.98%,74.67%. We can see the coking wastewater treatment process effluent COD were achieved after the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" (GB8978-1996). Removal of SS, TN and has also been greatly improved, and NH3-N not compliance.Through improved technology, using O3 pre-oxidation+A2/O reactor+activated carbon filter combined process, the process through the continuous experiments the characteristics of coking wastewater was studied, the results show that average concentrations of combined process of water were:COD=61.64 mg/L, NH3-N=24.75 mg/L, TN=31.35 mg/L, corresponding to the average removal rates were 89.23%, 83.17%,80.88%. Treated effluent indicators have reached the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" (GB8978-1996) in the two standards. Help with pre-oxidation of O3+A2/O reactor+activated carbon filter combined process of coking wastewater is feasible.
