This thesis based on surveying,collecting,arranging and analyzing mass data of the coking wastewater treatment process,facilities conditions,main source of waste water,the water temperature,water yield,main pollutant:phenol, cyanogen, oil, COD, ammonia nitrogen,pH and phenol, cyanogen, oil, COD, ammonia, nitrogen, SS in the effluent. The common biochemistry process had effect on the process of coking wastewater treatment technique and the application of the engineering on treating phenol, cyanogen, oil compounds in wastewater, but remove of COD,NH3-N was difficult to meet the requirement of environment emission. It had affected the wastewater treating effect of General Coke Making Plant of Ansteel, so must improve.After seeking the relevant document, we compared the present technologies and methods of treating coking wastewater currently, according to the big yields of coking wastewater and pollution contents, combining with facilities condition already and the producing experiences. So we changed the biological phenol removal technology into A/O with inner circulation process flow. This scheme made full use of original structures, only added anoxic pool, blend reaction pool, blend and sedimentation pool, saved the investment fund at maximum limit, and pollution degradation rates was high, process was simple, handling cost was low,volume load was high and so on merits.Adjusted with the improved process of wastewater treatment according to ammonia stripping system, pretreatment, biochemistry treatment, coagulation and sedimentation. Adopted increasing steam heat preserving the temperature in winter, increased the carbon source in domestication sludge, ran the process stabilizing, and reached a set of the best technological parameter.The experimental results of improved wastewater treatment showed that the removal rate of phenol,cyanogen and oil can achieve 57.44%,12.51% and 18.01%, COD reduced 63%, the ammonia nitrogen reduced 96.61%, effect was obviously。This technology is economic and technique feasible. It has an effect to improve coking wastewater treatment in General Coke Making Plant of Ansteel, and to other coking enterprise too.
