Since the application of modern logistics theory in China,the structure of traditional logistics theory has been formed systematically.Logistics,as the"third profit source",accelerates fund turnover by reducing the circulation cost and time.However,cold-chain logistics,as a special logistics form,is not given enough attention.But with the development of the social economy and the quick rhythm of people's work,our demand for fresh frozen foods has been growing.To improve their marketing skills,retailers increase higher demand on cold-chain logistics distributors,especially restrictive requirement on the time and quality of delivery.For distributors,on the condition of the time window constrains,they must also take into account such indefinite factors affecting the distribution as the perishables of the commodities and potential congestion in road transport,for the purpose of achieving the minimum cost.Within loading capacity,constructing the mathematical model to solve the problems of distribution routing in cold-chain logistics is significant both in theory and in practice.In distribution management,selecting reasonable distribution routing is the key to successful logistics cost control.Comparied with the normal atmosphere temperature logistics,cold-chain logistics has the factor of perisible commodities.And it requires more on the time window and the freshness of goods than normal atmosphere temperature distribution.With penalty costs increased significantly.However,this possible cost isn't taken into account in the models of normal atmosphere temperature distribution.We can research the management of cold-chain distribution,based on the factors of cold-chain logistics and Vehicle Routing Problem with Soft Time Windows to minimize the costs,including the transportation cost,inventory cost,and penalty cost as related to violating time windows.In order to make it easy for distributors to manage the vehicle distribution,plan practical delivery routing,get the information of delivery and achieve the visible function,in this paper the author used the MapObjects ActiveX control and Visual Basic platform to handle some complicated programming and management problems.And optimized the delivery routing while carefully studying the key technology in GIS-based distribution system integration,the data integration and function integration,the author continues to explain how to realize the storage and management of spatial and attribute database,the basic operation function of electronic map and the shortest delivery routing searching function.Furthermore,the author tried to analyze some real cases using improving genetic algorithms and Matlab software.Finally,the result of study was provided to demonstrate in the GIS-based distribution system.Thus it further validates the feasibility of mathematical model,and the superiority of GIS-based distribution operating system.
