For overcoming the shortcomings, the traditional approach is that the technical and expert staffs deploy the process parameters of injection molding in the selected device through continuous testing. If the adjustments of process parameters can not meet the requirements, we must changes the mold design, the use of materials and equipment. This method requires the operator with a wealth of practical experience, and time-consuming, trial mold costs are high, no longer suited to modern production requirements.The author simulate the injection process of air-conditioning panel by the use of simulation test and do some research works about the forecast of shortcomings and improving the quality of molding in the injection process, but the choice of parameters involved in thousands of combinations. Facing the innumerable number of combinations, if the virtue of experience of trial, it is difficult to obtain the optimal parameter of molding process. In this study, both orthogonal test and simulation results in the production of a combination of before the introduction of CAE technology, to detect potential problems before they occur, and analysis of problems. From the angle of the adjustment of injection parameters, the process parameters were optimized and reduce the warping deformation.On understanding the theoretical basis of simulation of CAE, based on simulation software Moldflow/MPI platform to air-conditioning panel parts as an analysis example. From two aspects of simulation and parameter optimization as a study, in-depth study of the air-conditioning panel appears defects in the injection molding process. By the Taguchi method, the author present five kinds of parameters on the degree of influence of the warping deformation and optimized the parameters, proposed combination of the optimized parameters. The author test the results on the simulation of the optimized parameters and draw a conclusion: optimized parameters are effective to reduce warping deformation. There are very positive purport to solve the practical problems in the production.The author mainly done as follows:(1) In order to lay the foundation for mold flow analysis, the author established an air-conditioning panel's three-dimensional parametric model with Pro/E.(2) Introduced the air-conditioning panel's molding filling mechanism, with the finite element / finite difference numerical method of injection molding three-dimensional flow analysis to establish the mathematical model.(3) Carried on the filling, warping and cooling analysis, simulation reached the filling time, injection pressure, clamping force, mold temperature and molding process parameters required, reached the cavitation location, warping deformation defects such as injection molding, provided a reference for the adjustment of process later.(4) In order to control the warping deformation goal, with the Taguchi method of forming mainly affect the quality of five factors were optimized combination of four levels, by 16 set of experiments reflecting the 1024 kinds of all experimental combinations of information, to receive the optimal combination of process parameters , can be better to reduce the warping deformation.
