"Twelve Five" period is the key period, in which our country respond to challenges positively, seize opportunities, strive for the whole development in mould industry. Therefore we should focus on developing digital production technology (including CAD/CAM/CAE production technology, standardized production technology) and information management technology(including CAPP, PLM, ERP management technology).At present informatization and digitization level is low in most domestic enterprise, three-dimensional software applications still remain in CAD/CAM application; Standardized production level and production needs are disjointed, standard parts production and suppliment are serious lag, and these standardized production are mostly monopolized by Taiwan and Japanese enterprises, these backward situation is particularly outstanding in plastic mould industry.Aimed at this current situation, many domestic research institutes conducted injection mould application development based on mainstream CAD softwares and made some achievements. But most of the achievements are applied to the old standard moldbase library, while little are applied to standard parts library application development. The development process requires plenty of programming, and development achievement application complicated, with weak functions and expansibility. Therefore, this paper put forward a new method for injection mould standard parts and standard moldbase library development based on UG/MoldWizard module. This method doesn't need programming, and the achievements are extensible, allowing the enterprise to add their standard and knowledge to the system seamlessly integration.In this paper, based on UG/Moldwizard module, standard parts library for injection mould was established by using parameterized modeling, expression and control parameters, assembly modeling, the WAVE hyper-geometric links etc technology. Standard parts library included guide pin, guide bushing, fastening screws, return pin, locating ring, spure bushing etc standard accessories and standard components, which can realize automatic positioning assembly function. Through top-down assembly modeling method to establish moldbase body panels class structure, then via calling standard parts from developed standard parts library to mixed assembly, thus established standard moldbase library system.According to user's requirements, through selecting type, series, specifications of moldbase, the system will automatically inquires each moldbase part in database, automatically generated the selected standard moldbase assembly body. The operation is simple and convenient.Calling a set of moldbase and required standard parts only cost two minutes, having greatly shortened the mould design cycle and improved enterprise competition ability. This system not only developed injection mould standard parts library and standard moldbase library, but also put forward a kind of design ideas and methods. Enterprise can flexibly add their own standard to the system in order to conveniently realize the new model generation, calls, which provided new energy for the development of enterprise.
