Teachers usually visually and directly communicate the knowledge and develop the teaching activity by making use of the explicit knowledge in their teaching. But in fact, the tacit knowledge is the core and foundation in the teaching, more important and valuable than explicit knowledge, esp. the art course with a strong practical operation. There is a certain amount of teachers’ classroom teaching organization, as well as the student learning process. There are also tacit knowledge explicit teaching and learning implicit tacit knowledge in the teaching process, help to promote the education and teaching practice. There is the multiplier effect of classroom teaching, so important significance to make the tacit knowledge explicit. But,there are also so many obstacles in the process of making the tacit knowledge explicit. In the teaching practice we need to find effective ways to promote the manifest of tacit knowledge teaching for students.According to the characteristics of occupation school curriculum, required a practical operation and demonstration teaching, there is a lot of action teaching content in the teaching process, there are generally tacit knowledge tacit can only be sensed in this process. Vocational school teaching to the students in the process of tacit knowledge can improve teacher’s teaching level, most conducive to students in knowledge absorption, and master the practical methods. This thesis take an example of the major lighting designer in vocational school named A school, by the literature research method, case analysis and work experience summary, firstly, show the present situation for the tacit knowledge explicit of A school lighting design; secondly, find out the effective factors to tacit knowledge be explicated, such as, the major characteristics of lighting design, the teachers and students as subject, and teaching materials and classroom teaching situation and so on, finally, discuss the effective way in teaching to make the tacit knowledge explicit.
