With the development of the electric power system,static-state reactive power compensators can't have met the requirements of the actual production and operation,and the trend to the fast and dynamic compensation for reactive power become greater and greater. Since Ertan hydroplant and 500Kv transmission systems in Sichuan power system have been operated,many power plants of load center are forced to halt during the high-water period,because the great deal of power is transmitted to far-distance load center. Thus the load center loses voltage sustentation and the level of the system stabilization is debased greatly. In addition,all the compensators in Sichuan power system are static-state capacitors (reactors). Only can those compensators work for the reactive power compensation and voltage sustentation effectively in the normal operation state. When the system appears the faults,they will not work,but inpel the occurrence of the system voltage crash.According to the actuality of Sichuan power system,the development,which researches for the dynamic compensation for enhancing the system voltage stabilization and constitutes the application scheme,will be provided with great signification of direction and realism.This dissertation belongs to the research of the universal and practical signification for dynamic compensators' enhancing the voltage stabilization. It is carried through the computation of voltage stabilization under the different operating modes by applying the Electrical Power Design Software of U.S.A. EDSA Corp. and PSASP (Power Synthesis Analysis Programme ),combining with the operating characteristic of Sichuan power system. It is researched for the influence of the existing reactive power compensators in Sichuan power to system voltage under different disturbances. It is constituted the capacitance and place of installing the dynamic reactive power compensators in Sichuan power system.The key of the dissertation's research is the comparison of the influence of static-state compensators and dynamic compensators to system voltage stabilization. It includes steady analysis and transient analysis. The intent is to find out the capacitance and place of installing the dynamic reactive power compensators in Sichuan power system in order to provide the base for system layout and design.
