Power system information integration requires for the realization of open access, data sharing and data combination among all kinds of application systems. However, these systems have different data format and storing mode. Therefore, traditional information integration methods can not do as well as be required.The CIM (common information model) is an information model which describe the logical architecture and relationship of all objects in power system. It provides a logical, consistent description of power system independent with platform for each application, using common XML (eXtensible Markup Language) as format of data object coding and transmission. The CIM/XML has become to be technology support of information exchange among different systems.The theory and application of CIM, XML and RDF are introduced at the beginning of the paper. Software system structure of power system and interface of information integration are researched. The realization method and process of two kinds of interface are studied. They are CIM/XML and CIS. According to the disadvantages on knowledge representation and information integration of existing operation-order-sheet systems, one kind of operation-order-sheet system based on CIM/XML is introduced. One side, power grid classes of the system based on CIM are designed. These classes also are extended in order to meet the necessary of system's realization and function. These classes are expressed in the form of CIM/XML document; on the other side, the design and expression with XML of operation classes are also researched. So, the knowledge representation of these two main kinds of knowledge is unified. Based on the CIM/XML document and its analyse, several problems are researched. These problems include creation and maintenance of topology knowledge base, reasoning and making out of operation-order-sheet, information integration of operation-order-sheet system and so on. In order to improve the speed and accuracy of making out an operation-order-sheet, operate-unit is introduced.
