The air-spring test bench has important influence on vehicle performances, such as stability of driving, comfort of riding and so on. The AC servo test bench is a test device of air-spring capability and it is developed according to the exterior characters of that. The conventional PID control can not attain the precision, because of the existence of characteristics of dead zone , lag circle and nonlinearity in the AC servo system. A fuzzy PID controller is designed based on scientific study of Fuzzy Control Theory and applied to the AC position servo system.Aimed at the practical problem in AC control field above described, this paper brought forward to apply a system analysis-design software namely MATLAB/SIMULINK, which is prevalent in control field, to design and analysis of the system. By means of the Control System Tools supplied by MATLAB, the paper analysis stability, dynamic performance and steady-state performance of the control system and compare the two-control theory such as PID and fuzzy control through simulation in Simulink all side. It has been establish their mathematical model by using with MATLAB function in this paper. At last by analyzing and emulating the method for the test bench, the characteristic of fast response and excellent robustness can be showed, and the superiority of the fuzzy control method is also proved.
