Along with the rapid development of network technology and simulation technology, better training simulator for dispatcher and substation operator is required. DTS and TSS are usually used separately in practice. DTS for dispatchers while TSS for substation operators. This training mode brings one problem that DTS and TSS can't support interoperability; So that trainees can't acquire different experiences and knowledge which are important for their routine work. So, the Joint System is important more and more.This paper mainly research on design and implement of real time communication interface between Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) and Training Simulator for Substation (TSS), using by network communication technology. The DTS and TSS on different nodes of a network are interconnected together by this interface, and a new and powerful cooperative simulator is formed.Firstly the characteristic of DTS and TSS are analyzed. Secondly using by reality of Joint Anti-Accident Training system for power network, a real time communication interface between DTS and TSS based on TCP/IP protocol is designed. Then this paper works over several key issues of Joint System: 1.function of Joint System; 2.design of network interface; 3.design of model interface .Under the cooperative simulation mode, the dispatcher and operator can be trained separately and together.With this neoteric cooperative fault simulation system the power flows under normal operation state and the short-circuit currents under various faults can be calculated. Through the coordination of the modules in DTS with TSS the status synchronization and event processing can be interacted, and the behavior of the protection devices in DTS and TSS can be truly reproduced. It proves to be of good expansibility and agility by experiment. The result of simulation and Training are greatly improved.
