| Objective(1)To observe the short-term efficacy of "remote acupuncture-local TuiNa Therapy" from Neck Type of Cervical Spondylosis (abbreviated to NTCS below) patient.(2)To explore the objective expression of soft tissue tension tester from changes of symtoms and signs of soft tissue of neck.Method(1)The diagnostic standard of NTCS in the2010guidebook of treatment for cervical spondylosis by the Chinese Association Of Rehabilitation Medicine, is consulted in this research. Based on the screening by inclusion and exclusion standard,54cases of NTCS patients are separated into the experimental group and the control group. The "remote acupuncture-local TuiNa" therapy is adopted by the experimental group, and local TuiNa therapy is adopted by the control group. Compare the VAS scores before and after the experiment, and evaluate the efficacy by the weighted value of VAS.(2)The soft tissue tension tester used in this research, is used to observe the changes of soft tissue of pain-spots and non-pain spots of neck before and after the treatment on the NTCS patients.(3)Process and analyze the collected data using the SPSS21.0statistic software. Statistic examination method:For measurement data:For comparing data from before and after a single participant is treated and that from different groups, the variance analysis of repeated measurement is adopted. For enumeration data:The chi-square test(x2analysis) is adopted. For rank data:The rank sum test is adopted. The examined difference of data will be considered as significant if P≤0.05.Results(1)The VAS scores of the two groups before treatment are more comparable (P>0.05). Comparison amongst part of the experiment group and control group of patients after treatment reveals an obvious ease of pain of both of them(P<0.05), while comparison between groups of patients after treatment shows that the effectiveness in the experimental group(1.23±0.69) is greater than that in the control group(1.97±1.03)(P<0.05). (2)Comparing the pain spots chosen respectively from the groups before and after treatment (inter-group comparison):No notable difference of displacement of soft tissue tension of the groups before and after treatment is shown (P>0.05), and therefore both of the groups are comparable. Comparing the pain spots chosen respectively from the groups before and after treatment (within-group comparison): An obvious improvement is observed from both of the groups after treatment (P<0.05).(3)Comparing the non-pain spots chosen respectively from the groups before treatment shows an obvious difference of the soft tissue tension (P<0.05). However, the results do no interference on the tentative investigation and observation of the changes of soft tissue tension under different treatments. For inter-group comparison: comparing the experimental group before and after treatment, no notable difference is shown on the soft tissue tension (P>0.05. For within-group comparison:comparing the control group before and after treatment, no notable difference is shown on the soft tissue tension (P>0.05). This shows no notable changes of the soft tissue tension of non-pain spots of both groups after treatment.ConclusionTreating CTNS patients with the "remote acupuncture-local TuiNa" therapy is more effective to ease the pain of the patients than treating them with local TuiNa therapy. Also, avoiding non-pain spots and targeting on the pain-spots to when exercising TuiNa on neck is more effective. |
