Clinical Study On Treatment Of Functional Diarrhea (Spleen And Stomach Syndrome) With

Objective:This clinical research was that observing the effect of Qiwei Baizhu Powder compared with western medicine in treating Functional diarrhea with weakness of the spleen and the stomach, To judge whether Qiwei Baizhu Powder has more advantages.Method:Randomly divide63cases of Functional diarrhea (weakness of the spleen and the stomach) into treatment group30and control group33, the first group took Qiwei Baizhu Powder,the other took Dictahed-ral Smectite Powder and Jin Shuang Qi, four weeks for a course, both are treated as a course. After the end of treatment, observed the sy-mptoms before and after treatment and relapse within one month after stopping drug,by statistical analysis, compared the score of the sym-ptoms before and after treatment、the time of remittng the symptoms、 comprehensive alleviation effect before and after treatment and anti-relapse effect.Result:(I) Two cases Generally, TCM symptom score before treatment, duration of treatment was statistically no significant difference (P>0.05), comparable.(2)The effect of clinical symptoms:there were6cases were cured,14cases markedly,7cases effectively,3cases ineffective in treatment group, the total effective rate is90%;there were3cases were cured,7cases markedly,14cases effectively,3cases ineffective in control group, the total effective rate is80%, After statistical analysis, concluded that both cases has a significant difference (P<0.05), shows that two gtoup drugs have good effect, but the treatment group better than the control group.(3) Comparison of Remission time:the treatment group have advantages to the control group in drug effectiveness. (4) The compare of the symptoms after treatment four weeks:a. Compare total symptom score after treatment, there were significant differences (P<0.05), prompt treatment group better than the control group; b. Compare total score after treatment of individual symptoms, fatigue, spiritlessness, cold ness in limbs, soreness and pain of waist and knees, irritability, complexion were significant difference (P<0.05), prompt the treatment group better than the control group; c. Integration of individual symptoms before and after treatment, the treatment group’s symptoms had all remission after treatment, the control group of coldness in limbs, soreness and pain of waist and knees, irritability no significant improvement.(5) Recurrence rate within one month after discontinuation:two groups of patients after withdrawal within one month, the treatment group was observed in27cases,5cases of recurrence;25cases in the control group,11cases of recurrence, the difference was statistically sign-ificant (P<0.05), that The recurrence of treatment group is better than the control group.(6) The two groups showed no kidney function damage and other adverse reactions.Conclusion:This clinical study showed that Qiweibaizhu Powder remedythe functional diarrhea (weakness of the spleen and the stomach) in terms of eliminating clinical symptom, work time and reducing the recurrence rate has advantages, has a better prospect of clinical application.
