| Purpose：Observe the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigationcombined ultrashort wave together with western medicine on treating the coldand dampness stagnation syndrome type of rheumatoid arthritis, compare with theefficacy of ultrashort wave with western medicine treatment, and explore theeffect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy in the treatment ofrheumatoid arthritis.Material and method：The72cases which were cold and dampness stagnationsyndrome type of rheumatoid arthritis patients were randomly divided intotreatment group and control group, the36cases of control group were treatedby ultrashort wave with western medicine, and the36cases of treatment groupwere treated by traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined ultrashort wavetogether with western medicine. Both two groups were treated for15days.Results：1. Comparison of the disease efficacy of the two groups, the total effectiverate of treatment group was97.22%, the total effective rate of treatment groupwas83.33%, the efficacy in improving disease treatment effect of treatment groupwas better than that of control group.2. Comparison of the TCM syndrome efficacy of the two groups, the total effectiverate of treatment group was100%, the total effective rate of treatment groupwas75%, the efficacy in improving TCM syndrome treatment effect of treatmentgroup was better than that of control group.3. Comparison of the efficacy of the two groups in joint tenderness number andtenderness index, the efficacy of treatment group in reducing the jointtenderness number and decreasing the tenderness index were better than those of control group.4. Comparison of the efficacy of the two groups in joint swelling number andswelling index, the efficacy of treatment group in reducing the joint tendernessnumber and decreasing the tenderness index were similar with those of controlgroup.5. Comparison of the efficacy of the two groups in morning stiffness time, theefficacy of treatment group in shortening the morning stiffness time was betterthan that of control group.6. Comparison of the efficacy of the two groups in TCM syndrome index, theefficacy of treatment group in decreasing the TCM syndrome index was obviouslybetter than that of control group.Conclusion：The efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined ultrashort wavetogether with western medicine on treating the cold and dampness stagnationsyndrome type of rheumatoid arthritis in improving disease treatment effect andTCM syndrome treatment effect, reducing the joint tenderness number anddecreasing the tenderness index, shortening the morning stiffness time anddecreasing the TCM syndrome index are better than that of ultrashort wave withwestern medicine treatment, and the efficacy in reducing the joint tendernessnumber and decreasing the tenderness index are similar with those of ultrashortwave with western medicine treatment. |
