| Purpose:Tongmai Jiangzhuo is based on Treatise on Febrile Diseases DachaihuDecoction,according to the clinical experience of addition and subtraction cutinto,and it has exact effect of Blood lipid regulation and prevention andtreatment of Atherosclerosis. This experiment verifies Tongmai Jiangzhuo’seffect of anti-dyslipidemia and anti-Atherosclerosis molding rabbitsmoldel ofDyslipidemia and Atherosclerosis and gavage administration Tongmai Jiangzhuodecoction.Material and method:The45rabbits were randomly divided into six groupsaccording to sex,including normal group,model group, positive controllinggroup(Xue Zhi Kang), Tongmai Jiangzhuo low dose group, Tongmai Jiangzhuo middledose group, Tongmai Jiangzhuo high dose group. The normal group rabbits eatrabbit’s basic fodder. The left groups eat High-fat fodder to model rabbit’smoldels of Dyslipidemia and Atherosclerosis.The model group rabbits were givenby gavage of normal saline.The positive controlling group(Xue Zhi Kang) rabbitswere given by gavage of Xue Zhi Kang liquor. Tongmai Jiangzhuo group rabbitswere given by gavage of different dose of Tongmai Jiangzhuo decoction. To theend of the experiment rabbits’ Cholesterol,Triglyceride, LDL-C,HDL-C levelswere tested, and aorta specimen were observed by naked eye and scored. Then aortaand coronary pathological section were observed by optical microscope.Results:1. Blood lipid level:Model group rabbits’ blood lipid level were higher than normal group’s witha statistically significant difference that it means modeling successfully.The Triglycerides level of controlling group(Xue Zhi Kang), Tongmai Jiangzh uo low dose group and Tongmai Jiangzhuo middle dose group were lower than model group’s with a statistically significant difference. The TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C level of The Tongmai Jiangzhuo high dose group are all lower than model group’s with a statistically significant difference.2. Gross lesions observed after aortic stainingNormal group: endomembrane smooth, no spots and strip uplift. Model group:The most severe lesions. Controlling group(Xue Zhi Kang), TongmaiJiangzhuomiddle dose group, Tongmai Jiangzhuo high dose group: compared with the model group ballon injuried lighter and lighter with Tongmai Jiangzhuo dose increaseing.3. Aortic plaques areaThe Aortic plaques area of model group were more than normal group observably with a statistically significant difference. The Aorticplaques area of positive controlling group(Xue Zhi Kang), Tongmai Jiangzhuo low dosegroup, Tongmai Jiangzhuo middle dose group, Tongmai Jiangzhuo high dose group wereall less than model groupobservably with a statistically significant difference.4.Aortic pathology observation by optical microscopeNormal group: no tissue morphology changing. Model group: intima thickening obviously, luminal stenosis, edema severely, a lot of foam cell formation, Lipid plaque extending to the lumen, derangement ofsmooth muscle cell,a lot of inflammatory cell infiltration.The degree of positive controllinggroup(Xue Zhi Kang)’s, Tongmai Jiangzhuo low dose group’s, Tongmai Jiangzhuo middle dose group’s,Tongmai Jiangzhuo high dose group’s pathological change were alllighter thanmodel group.5. Coronary artery pathology observation by optical microscopeNormal group: regular shape, no anomaly pathological change. Model group: irregular shape, incomplete structure, uneven lumen, a lotof inflammatory c ell infiltration, obstructive Coronary artery, derangement of smooth musclecell, a lot of Hyperplasia of inflammatory cells.The degree of positive controlling group(Xue Zhi Kang)’s, TongmaiJiangzhuo low dose group’s, TongmaiJiangzhuo middle dosegroup’s, Tongmai Jiangzhuo high dose group’s pathological change were all lighter than model group.Conclusion:Tongmai Jiangzhuo has a good effect on Blood lipid regulation and preventionand treatment of Atherosclerosis of rabbit models. |
