Clinical Study On Treatment Of Primary Hyperlipidemia With

Purpose：To observe the improvements of the outcome measures of the patientswith primary hyperlipemia who has taken XuDuanGanYuan capsule,includingsyndromes of traditional Chinese (TCM),blood fat levels.To discuss about theprescription characteristics and its possible mechanism objectively evaluateits efficacy and safety of the treatment. Finally to establish a new kind ofChinese formulated product which is safe,effective and easy for application forthe reeatment of primary hyperlipemia.Material and method：According to the inclusion criteria,58cases ofpatients with primary hyperlipemia were selected,and were divided into testgroup (24cases) and control group (24cases) was treated.Test group was treatedwith XuDuanGanYuan capsule,control group was treated with simulation agents.The treatment duration was twelve weeks.Before and after the treatment,observingthe improvements of syndromes of TCM and recording the values of blood lipiditems (including TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C).After the clinical obersavition, disposaldata and making detailed statistical analysis.Results：After twelve weeks treatments, the clinical total effective rateof treatment group is78.26%and The clinical total effective rate of controlgroup is27.27%,and there is a big difference (P＜0.05) which shows that testgroup has a better curative effect on medicine clinical curative effect.The totaleffective rates of TCM meliorating symptoms were73.91%in test group and22.73%in control group,and there is a big difference (P＜0.05) which shows that thetest group has a better curative effect on improving the TCM.Compared betweenthe two groups, there is a big difference (P＜0.05) which shows that two groupshave different treatments.In both groups, the level of TC,TC and LDL-C werestatistically decreased and the level of HDL-C was statistically increased,there is a significant difference (P＞0.05).Compared between the two groups,there isa statistically significant difference on invreasing the levels of HDL-C (P＜0.05),there is no difference (P＞0.05) on reducing other blood fat items，howeverthe D-value of test group were greater than the control group. It suggeststhat test group has a better curative effect on limproving HDL-C and test grouphas a certain advantage on reducing other fat items. During the clinical trial,there is no obvious treatment-related adverse event happended.Conclusion：XuDuanGanYuan capsule can effectively relieve TCM symptoms,andcan effectively improve the levels of HDL-C,there is no obvious adversereactions and toxic side effects.It is a safe andeffective Chinese formulatedproduct for the treatment of primary hyperlipemia.
